By Pastor Peter Terna
I want you to first and foremost understand that barriers are real. They block people’s destinies and progress; They frustrate lives and render people hopeless and disappointed. 1 Corinthians16:9. Deuteronomy Chapter 2:24 confirm that barriers are real, but let me inform you that we have the redemptive right to clear them off our paths.
Isaiah 52: 1-3 says: “Awake, awake: put up thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments. O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down. O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands on thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourself for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money”.
You shall be redeemed from delay and stagnation. I decree you are coming out of every dungeon of barriers and limitations in the mighty name of Jesus. Whatever that is out there to stop you, the God who created you will stop it in the mighty name of Jesus.
Yes, you have the redemptive right to stop barriers around your life. Whatever that is holding you down. Whatever that is not allowing you to lift up your head. . . I decree that power is coming down in the mighty name of Jesus. . . that power is giving up today in the mighty name of Jesus
The question to ask is: How do I break this barrier around my life?
Number 1. You must be born again. That’s the first requirement. You want barriers to be broken around you? Be born again. John chapter 3:5 says except a man is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Ephesians 2:5-6 talks about you being redeemed by grace.
Ephesians 1: 20-21says you are redeemed to be far above principalities and powers. When you are redeemed, you will be far above the forces that hold people down; You will be far above them. So be born again.
Number 2. Keep walking by faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7; Ephesians 6:16 confirm this. Keep walking by faith.
Number 3. Keep walking in the light of the word of God, engaging what you believe. That is what it means. Keep walking in the light of the word. John 8: 12. Keep walking in the light of the world
Number 4. Be committed to growing in your love for God so as to secure divine presence that no barrier can withstand. Be committed to growing in love. Love God with everything in you. 1 John chapter 4:16.
Number 5: Keep speaking boldly against all forms of barrier on your path. Keep speaking. . .Stop being the architect of your failure. Keep speaking positively concerning your life. . . when you are born again, Satan cannot stop you.
Some of us endorse failure by the words of our mouth. Most of us are impeded in the journey of life by our utterances. . .by what we say. Barriers can have a stronghold in your life and destiny if you don’t speak anything good about yourself. . .If you are talking chaff about your life, barriers remain. I don’t speak failure to myself. So, stop being a barrier to yourself.
Speak what the Word of God says about you and not the circumstances around you. The Bible says the light shines in darkness. . . and darkness comprehended it not. That is, darkness does not have power to quench the light of God’s glory in you if you are a chid of God.
When you speak the word, you are speaking light, you are speaking victory and progress, and anytime light comes, darkness must obey and flee. John 1:5.
Barriers is clearing off your path as you begin to speak authoritatively what God says through his words in Jesus name, Amen. See you in next edition.
